Christina has been practicing yoga since 2000. Her personal experiences with
pre and post natal yoga as well as her training in that area cultivated a
desire to reach out to people at all stages of life.
In July of 2006, she finished her RYT certification program with Stephanie Keach
in Asheville, NC. She attained pre-natal yoga certification with Chandra Om
at the NC School of Yoga. Beyond that, Christina has attended workshops with
Doug Swenson, Mary Kay West, Jenny Otto, Steve and Elaine Nelson, and Paul and
Suzee Grilley. Most recently, Christina completed her Yin Yoga training, and has
enjoyed introducing this healing style of yoga into her traditional flow classes."
As a mother of three young children as well as an instructor
at a local college, Christina has experienced the balance and harmony yoga
has brought into her life as well as the healing it has encouraged in her
body; it is her goal to share that experience with others.

Mary took her first yoga class in 1998 as a means to help manage the stress of her corporate job in
New Jersey. She immediately realized the benefits not only to her state of relaxation, but to the state
of her body which had been compacted by years of weight training and running.
In 2009 she completed her training at Asheville Yoga Center where she had the honor of learning from
Stephanie Keach, Shala Worsley and Cindy Dollar among others. In addition, she has attended workshops
with Jenny Otto and Steve and Elaine Nelson. She looks forward to a lifetime journey of deepening her
knowledge and practice so she may share what she learns with others.
Mary credits her yoga practice with her "glass half full" outlook on life, and with relieving the
low back pain she suffered with for years. Her classes are vinyasa flow style and she teaches with a
light hearted and fun approach. She has been married to Scott for ten years and they share a beautiful
daughter, Elena.
